How To Measure Your Own Windows For Your Own Blinds

Find out how you can measure your own windows before purchasing WinUs blinds.

SCENARIO ONE - YOU INTEND TO PURCHASE A SINGLE BLIND, WITH NO SPACES AROUND WINDOW.

Height - (1) Measure the height of the window straight from the top to bottom.

Width - (1) Measure the width of the window straight from the left to right side. (2) Minus 1cm from the entire measured width.

SCENARIO TWO - YOU INTEND TO PURCHASE TWO OR MORE BLINDS FOR ONE WINDOW AREA, WITH NO SPACES AROUND WINDOW.

Height - (1) Measure the height of the window straight from the top to bottom.

Width - (1) Measure the width of the window from the left to the center spot. (2) Continue to measure the width of the center spot to the other end of the window. (3) Minus 0.5cm from each side. (total 1cm)

SCENARIO THREE - YOU INTEND TO PURCHASE A SINGLE BLIND FOR ONE WINDOW AREA, WITH SOME SPACES AROUND WINDOW

Height - (1) Measure the height of the window straight from the top to bottom. (2) Add between 5cm to 10cm to the height of window. (Max 10cm) This gives the blind a nice "hanging" overall look given the extra spaces beneath the window.

Width - (1) Measure the width of the window from the left to right end of the window. (2) Add 5cm to each side of the width (Total 10cm) Again, this gives the blind a nicely-framed look around your window.

SCENARIO FOUR - YOU INTEND TO PURCHASE TWO OR MORE BLINDS FOR ONE WINDOW AREA, WITH SOME SPACES AROUND WINDOW

Height - (1) Measure the height of the window straight from the top to bottom. (2) Add between 5cm to 10cm to the height of window. (Max 10cm) This gives the blind a nice "hanging" overall look given the extra spaces beneath the window.

Width - (1) Measure the width of the window from the left to the center of the window. (2) Continue to measure again this time from the center of the window to the other right end of the window. (3) Add 5cm to each side of the width (Total 10cm) Again, this gives the blind a nicely-framed look around your window.

Alternatively, you can also get a free* site measurement when you purchase any WinUs® blinds.
