Inspired by Ib Kofod-Larsen, "Ib Kofod-Larsen Shell Chair"
- Made in 1950s by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Christensen and Larsen of Denmark. Danish Kofod-Larsen primarily designs storage and seating for the Swedish market in the 1960's.
- Several early variations of the chair include materials used such as iron for the body frame with bent plywood for the back. His organic designs were to extreme for the Swedish taste back in the 1950s, hence some of his designs did not really reach commercial success.
- Today, his creations are sold at higher and higher prices and are widely considered pieces of art.
