- The disadvantages of casement doors are
- Cannot be used where the space between the bed and the wardrobe is less than 80cm. Open doors block movement.
- Doors needs to be aligned and tightened occasionally. Sagging doors can be dangerous.
- Gap between doors for carcasses spanning two doors.
- Mirrors attached to casement doors cause sagging very quickly due to the weight of the mirror.
